Self Defense & Fitness - A
great all round workout incorporating Jeet Kune Do techniques (street
self-defense, stick and knife), as well as fitness conditioning,
and energy drills. This is a great workout for those wanting to
learn how to defend themselves in real-life situations.
Kune Do (JKD)
8yrs & up – an
eclectic martial art first created and refined by "Little Dragon",
Bruce Lee. Using "no way, as way". Focusing on what works
as the main goal in this martial art, this is why JKD is renowned
for it's street effectiveness. We cover all ranges of fighting,
from the ground to stand up, to weapons or empty hand. **Your own
pair of Kali sticks and boxing gloves are required.
Martial Arts 4yrs
& up - a combination of disciplines (BJJ, JKD, Kickboxing) that
caters for families who can take the class together, as well as
teens and adults who want to continue with their regular training.
The class will be divided into two - one instructor will lead children
under 11, and the other instructor will lead teens & adults.
Parents attending the class are welcome to participate with their
children in the class drills if they wish.

Mike's journey into the martial arts began at 11yrs old when he
joined a Goju Kai Karate club in his hometown of Calgary. He was
hooked on the martial arts from day one and enjoyed great success
in tournaments in both Kata (Movement Forms) and Kumite (Sparring).
During high school, Mike started his training in Western Boxing.
began Muay Thai training under World Champion, Ajarn Mike Miles
in the mid 90's and has had the opportunity with other world champions
such as Shihan Simon Posener, and Kru Trevor Smandych.
The combination of Muay Thai and Boxing forged a level of fitness
that was amazing.
2006, Mike began training in Jeet Kune Do with PFS Senior Full
Instructor, Trevor Clarkson, who was passing on the art through
the lineage of Bruce Lee, via Guro Dan Inosanto and Paul Vunak.
Mike knew he was on the right path, with new training methods
