Kundalini Yoga is about experiencing yourself at a deeper level. With powerful breath work, postures, mantra and meditation, you may experience many benefits such as improved mental clarity, a stronger and more flexible body, improved cardiovascular fitness, balanced moods and a deeper spiritual connection.
This style of yoga meets you at your level within your body. There are no physical adjustments made. Listening and acknowledging what feels true for you moment to moment is a fundamental part of your yogic journey.
A typical Kundalini yoga class begins with a set of warm-up exercises, followed by a Kriya (a group of exercises that work towards a specific outcome, e.g. flexible spine, cleansing the kidneys) then a deep relaxation and ending with a meditation.
